The Fall And Rise

Looking at the blue,

Tears rolled down my cheeks,

I was numb.

Going back to my childhood,

Remembering my sweet little home,

Funny fights with siblings,

Holding hands and walking on the beach with mom-dad,

Warmth and hugs of grandma,

Nostalgic school days, 

Magical and unforgettable those were!

As time passes by,

Growing day by day.

Stepping forward in life,

My passion, my dreams

Led me to success.

Distracted my mind from eternal peace.

 luxury and lavish lifestyle

 Devastated tranquillity and happiness.

I cried but no one was with me,

I’m alone.

Where are my loved ones?

Walking on the beach,

Waves touched my bare feet.

Smelling the salty air of the seashore

The rhythm of waves, rising and falling

Touches my soul.

I am not alone.

My family, my love irreplaceable.

Happiness is priceless.
