The Face Of Love

I had once dreamt of a magical place,

I had once dreamt of love,

I had once tried to give it a face,

But I would fail somehow.

I used to imagine the perfect day,

I used to imagine the one,

I used to imagine what I’d say,

With the backdrop of a setting sun.

Stories I heard about feeling bliss,

Stories I heard of content,

Stories I heard about that first kiss,

And of living life in a moment.

Love painted a picture so pretty,

That feeling I would crave,

And I find myself lucky to have found you,

To be among the few,

To have found in someone a love so true.

You have shown me love in so many ways,

 more than I ever imagined love to be,
