The setting sun, the fading day...

Kills me to be so far away...

But the rigid heart and teary eyes...

Painful smile and silent cries...

All waiting for the distant light,

That will someday, fade away from my woeful plight.

Busy streets, quiet me...

Chaotic roads that I see.

Starlit nights, dark inside...

Towering buildings by the side,

All lead me to a place where I belong...

Somewhere, where you are alone.

Lonely hours, restless heart,

Secretly tearing me apart...

Unspoken words, piercing silence,

All testing my patience...

But the rising sun and the waxing moon...

Both giving me hope that we will be together soon.

The distance between us does not matter,

For someday this distance will shatter...

So, the ticking clock and the changing dates,
