The Dejected Girl
The Dejected Girl
Looking at her pitiful eyes,
I see nothing but her painful existence;
That makes me cry,
Her smiling face hides all her sorrows.
She is left alone in her life,
Playing warden to her soul;
No one is there to make her happy,
She is locked in her own prison.
She don't have freedom to do anything
Just because she is a girl,
No one care for her as she is a girl;
No one of her family talk to her.
She was totally dominated by her family,
She was also not allowed to go school;
She was hated from the date of her birth,
Her life is so difficult to live.
O God I can't see this kind of pain in her eye, give me some courage to help her.
O God please remove this narrow-mindedness of people.
I can't tolerate this kind of narrow thinking,
Every girl should be given same freedom like every boy
Everybody is equal.
