The Dark Night So Lonely
The Dark Night So Lonely
The days were happy
The time was good
Of the little bird on a tree
That built a nest of wood
It usually starts so early
Before the sunrises too
It flies so long over the sea
And lands in a place so new
And one day all it did see
The evening set the place for
The dark night so lonely
With an entirely changed weather
Thunders are heard so loud
But lightning is never seen
Suddenly a dense watery cloud
Captured the bird within
Just think of the plight
Of a bird so small and helpless
Imagine the dreadful sight
Where bird fights for existence
The bird never knew what happened
The water-filled the place around
The tiny bird got suffocated
Never knew where the exit did end
We all are in the same state
Our mind suffocates to deviate
The soul is held in so tight
We never knew the way to fight
And every time I think of it
A nightmare I would always see
So frightening to surely regret
Where our souls held up and never free
