The Dark Eye!

The Dark Eye!

I am a lost cause

Said the Man

Who was nonplussed

He watches other people

With a curious eye

As every other person

Seems to have luck on their side

There's no use in trying

To relate to his woes

He lives in a World

That not many people know of

Here in this place

And here in his head

He suffers in silence

In dark demented dread

He was once a fantastic believer

That karma was meant

For others who linger

In thoughts that betray their fate

But now he knows better

As karma and fate

Belong to the damned

Who have done wrong

To their fellow Man

So now he is drifting

Like the dark horrid wind

That takes no prisoners

With the sands that seep in

Because everyone is fated

And everyone sins.
