Oh! This pleasing Moonrise.
How pretty are you in disguise,
I have seen many shades of you o! My humble Moon,
But to see you rise at the Byron lighthouse is surely a boon
When all the tired birds retire quickly to their nest,
Leaning on a chair and watching you rise will give optimum rest,
Oh! This pleasing Moonrise.
How pretty are you in disguise,
I would hardly blink my eyes fearful to miss the scene,
Only when the lighthouse flashes I would recover to hear the fishermen scream,
Look at my face light up when you rise above the horizon,
It is the time when peace from my heart begins from the origin.
Oh! This pleasing Moonrise.
How pretty are you in disguise,
Even the toughest hearts will cry when they see you this way,
The voiceless souls will speak surely at the Byron bay,
Visiting the bay with my Love someday is now my dream,
Looking you and Embracing my girl when the lighthouse throws it's a beam
Oh! This pleasing Moonrise...
How pretty are you in disguise,
