The Blessed Month of Ramadan

The holy month of Ramadan has arrived 

It's a month of mercy, peace and blessings

The month begins by the mark of the moon

And muslims fast from dawn to dusk

It's the month in which the Holy Quran was downed

Sent to us as guidance, help and sustenance

When we recite it, the heart gets peace 

All the negativity absconds away  

In the holy night of Ramadan

Soul has a beautiful connection with Allah

We can learn lots of discipline, obedience and humility

Every good deed is multiplied by seventy

It is obligatory to fast in this month 

Ask forgiveness and what else is needed

For Allah will reward for what you ask for

Fasting that purifies our soul

And protect us from the evil of all sorts.
