A Stranger to Life
A Stranger to Life
A Stranger to Life
Beneath this endless sky
I stand alone
an outcast to the ground I tread.
I ask myself
where is the fairness
that others seem to find?
Why does peace
feel like a dream
I can never touch?
Breathing feels like a punishment
each day heavier than the last
This place was never meant for me—
I am adrift,
a stranger in a life
that refuses to see me.
My heart aches for a land
that doesn’t push me away
a place where I can finally feel
I am alive.
