Oh Allah, Save Me

In a sea of people

I feel lost, drowning in silence

Each pain I carry feels endless

Like a shadow that never fades

Grief has changed me

Left me tired and broken.

The road ahead is full of turns

And I don’t know which way to go

My dreams fall apart in my hands

While my heart sinks deeper into sadness.

I am not wise,

I have no words to heal my wounds

My scars run deeper than I can show

And my spirit feels too weak to rise

Is there still a light inside me

hiding somewhere in this darkness?

I look to the heavens above

Oh Allah, I beg You—

Hold me through the storms of life

And bring me back to hope again.
