The Ache

The Cause:

Ego cementing the layers

Stumping affection in the foyers

Anger blinding the vision

Shattering the love mansion

Shooting pains hoot 

Fragile bonds uproot

Without the sound of a crack

A break puts life at stake. 


The effect:

Merriment gone

Sadness mounting a ton

Activities slacked

Lethargy racked

Pushing out all the pleasures

Thinking as unworthy treasures

The person turns indifferent

Detached at home and work front


The Result:

The walls got thicker

The blood got richer 

The flow became slower

The heart turned weaker

The valves stocked a blocker

Bringing the end nearer

Nothing left to ponder

The ache is in the yonder

,..................




Written in free verse

Note: Here, the ache means heart attack.

It is just one perspective of its development.
