Tender
Tender
Tender touches, tendrils of time
Moments soaked in misty trails
You still whisper to me love verses
My poems tell our stories.
You came and went
But you were never gone
Like a sea curdling at the shore
Your memories nestle in my heart
Deep down in the alcoves of my mind
I built another world of you and me
Where I write, sing and dance,
Tender years of yore is where I belong.
