Teachers: Our Guiding Light!

Teachers are truly the best gifts of god, 

For them we shall wholeheartedly applaud. 

We express to them our gratitude, 

For instilling in us a wonderful attitude. A teacher is just like a candle, 

Burning itself for others advantage. 

All through life they work selfless, 

To open up to their students the world of knowledge. 

They finely shape up our personalities, 

And also make us understand our responsibilities. 

Moral values and acts of kindness are what they make us imbibe, 

If we follow their teachings, we all shall strive. 

When they check us, 

We better not fuss 

Because their love, guidance and zest, 

Makes us all better than the best. 

‘I wish I was a teacher’, 

I would have students too to nurture. 

This is only how I can repay, 

To my perseverant and adorable preachers.
