Swansong

Swansong

The swan glides across the water,

A graceful dance, a sight to see.

A creature of such beauty,

With a song that's meant to be.

For in the swan's final moments,

Before it takes its last breath,

It sings a song of such sweetness,

That it echoes through life and death.

A swan song, they call it,

A melody of love and loss.

A bittersweet symphony,

That speaks to all who cross.

For in the swan's final moments,

It shares a part of its soul.

A reminder to cherish each day,

And to let our hearts be whole.

So let us listen to the swan's song,

And let its beauty fill our hearts.

For in its final moments,

It imparts a wisdom that never departs.

And as the swan takes its last flight,

And its song fades into the night,

Let us remember the beauty it brought,

And the lesson it taught, so dearly sought.
