Garlanding a memory

Woven around Smiles

Unfolded with every sunrise

And Regrets

Hidden by numerous sunsets

Untangling in an ageing dawn

With friends, true and loyal

Like "Damon and Pythias" 

Surviving ravages of time!

Some have evanesced

When the sky was overcast,

Some followed like a shadow

When it was an orange glow,

Love would have weighed

World versus You,

Life in between fought

Won or lost!

But close ties still dangling

Low and large

Like the last branch of a tree!

Life meanders,

Footsteps you leave behind

Can't tread in the next turn.

Nights are now too long to bear

Days far shorter to relive.

Visit your grave now and then

Keep changing post

A little away from the Queue,

Find time to Breathe and wreath

From beneath the Pall 

Where Tomorrow is draped 

Waiting to recreate
