Another Year Passed

Greetings on this Day

Turned a page in the Annals,

Whether I exist or enjoy the ride 

has not been so worrisome,

But furious was the pace 

It moved past.

A few have left

Others are trailing behind!

A legacy finding a place to rest.

Story will splash across

When a Bonaparte falls,

A Beethoven's music 

no more heard,

Sun to set in Queen's Empire..

But me, leaf in a gale,

Can only cherish to outlive

In fond memories of my Friends!!
