HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Don't remember

When I left my mother's hand,

Babbling and cooing

Stumbled upon the first word,

A Toddler turned young

And grown old so fast !!!

Balloons and Streamers

Sixty three candles atop a cake 

Marked my journey hitherto.

"Live Hundred years",

"Wishes come true", 

All very passionate invocation

Seldom fulfilled though!

Slurping long noodles 

Dancing the tune of the folks

A panacea sung to the hilt.

But, alas, once comfort lost,

Not worrying the next bend 

Rowing in the deluge of uncertainty

Keep afloat with His Blessings

One day ends, next unknown!
