Story of Poems

Some poems are not written to be read,

They are not written to be listened to,

And they are not composed to be criticized.

Some poems are written to feel,

To change the thoughts,

To convert the pain into happiness,

To change your negativity into positivity.

They are composed as Keats and Donne had composed,

Like 'Beauty is a thing of joy forever',

And like ' So let us melt, and make no noise',

Or like 'The proper study of Mankind is Man.'

Poems are free to read,

As free verse gives them an opportunity to be written with full freedom.

Poems are not mere poems,

To read and to forget,

But poems are there to change your mindset.
