Star Hotel
Star Hotel
I went on a visit to JW Marriott to meet the boss
Who was once a schoolmate and lived across
Both sat together on the same bench in class
He introduced Russian books and saved me from being crass
We were greeted by umpteen folded hands and wishes
Passed the security and entered the maze to Star Gaze
Seeing locals in the lobby was a pleasant surprise
Twenty foot chandeliers adorning the ceiling like reprise
Beautiful women everywhere had my eyes gleaming
48 mp in my pocket tempted me to start live streaming
He took me to his second floor suite 232 which was his regular
As big as a 2bhk everything about it was spectacular
Perpendicular on the structure it had windows on both its ends
With a view so spell bounding of the world that transcends
He poured me a shot of bourbon which was 100 proof
The moment I finished it I hit the roof
A pompous show was in full swing on the lawn inside
Dressed in glitter a fair maid was addressing the crowd beside
Babes from bollywood to sandalwood walked the ramp side by side
At every break came loud music which did not bring any respite
The crowd mostly men ogling at models were having sprite
Bouncers were manning the place to prevent any spite
The place was filled with all characters you could recite
The moment free bar opened everyone pounced on the bartenders
Stocked with Red Label they had plenty of contenders
With no muscle to match we simple became bystanders
The star hotel was filled to its brim a sight so grim
For a middle-class my perception got a trim
Naive interns in the kitchen were eager and enthusiastic
Serving to the egoistic customers whose butt was static
The buffet spread was colorful and erratic
Seeing this, the omnivorous human became frantic
The greed to try everything was unromantic
Gorgeous evening came to an end with a group snap
With his sexy girl friend beside hope he had his nap
Bid adieu to the couple and I left with my map
Reached home past midnight and back into my trap
