Slaughter of Religion

A Dream 

One night before going to bed 

To God, I prayed 

To come to me in a dream;

In the midnight as in a film 

I saw the Lord holding a huge mace

Wearing a brilliant dazzling dress 

Was levelling temples,

    mosques and churches

To the ground;

He seemed oath-bound

To clear the world of prejudices,

Ignorance, bigotry and deadly differences;

"Man has turned the earth into a hell,

And is going to sound the death knell

Of the human race;

So serious is indeed the case;

I'm going to uproot each 

       and every religious place;

There will then be peace and order;

Love will replace hatred and anger;

Peace, brotherhood and harmony can thrive;

After this destruction drive, 

The humanity that's religiously fragmented,

         after the slaughter 

of the Demon called

        Religion, 

Will be firmly united and irrevocably bonded.
