Our Togetherness
Our Togetherness

When I see faces
Both young and old
Of beautiful women
And beautiful young men and old men.
Loving generous men and women,
Despite their body colour,
It's their eyes that speak to me
Of love and their loving instincts,
And I am instantly filled
With intense love and delight unutterable
In any kind of speech or words,
They are not away from me;
They are all absolutely my own family
Everywhere on planet Earth.
Here I feel like kissing the forehead
Of an old generous Englishman;
There I feel like lovingly feeding
A beautiful young African girl,
They might think we are so different
And far far away from each other
But I feel and clearly see
Our togetherness inside and within me;
In fact, it is not any togetherness;
It's an indivisible integral whole
That's nothing but me and me
Yes only me and no one lives apart
From others but each lives within the other;
Doesn't matter whether friends
Or enemies they think they might be.
