Siren
Siren
She shot through the sky
Falling to her birth
Submerged
in the ocean
She emerges from its depths
She's too weak
To swim to shore
Her cries for help
Touched ears
As melodies
Lured in
A ship
She saw men
Eye patches
With beards
And beer
Blinded by their
Spotlight
She then, heard cheers
" We got a beauty"
"Not we, she's mine!"
The men began to argue
Fear grew within
So she let out a screech
Strong winds howled in
Rocking the ship until
Kraken awoke
From the deep
Destroying the ship
Splashes from his
Feast
Created waves
The ripples
Cradling her a shore
Her life made by the death
Of others.
