Silenced

He made me cry, brought tears into my eyes,

Yet he says he is a man who is very wise.

Inside, I am so lonely and solitaire.

Of my inner feelings , no one is aware.

At times I feel like crying for so many reasons

but still cannot do it, as I have to appear better and stronger every time in his presence .

But, I have a broken inner self.

people around me are heartless.

Each one has made my life a mess

Hope to have a better life ahead.

He is a hypocrite and selfish,

Always does what he wants.

Why did he marry me if he could not

Satisfy my small demands?

What did I want from him?

May be little time for myself.

He talks, but talks about his work life

And ends up talking about himself.

He often does what he wants,

be it on bed or somewhere else.

He forces himself upon me just for pleasure,

He has no value for my tears and treasure.

Is a woman only meant for doing what a man. says?

Why does he forget about his own mother's days?

Was she too treated the same way I am being treated?

Was she too thrown everyday for pleasure on bed?

I have now learnt to keep myself quiet.

No matter what, I keep a fake smile on.

May be this is the only way to show to my parents,

that I am doing so well with his money and have moved on.

My life has become a pot full of questions,

Where I find no one is able to answer.

Is my life going on smooth

or I am on the way to disaster?
