Where Is My Friend ?

Oh my dear friend!

I always thought that we will remain friends forever,

but time changed

we too moved away from each other,

it seems we weren't destined to be together.

I vividly remember all those giggles and bad jokes,

sitting and enjoying at the last benches

oh! how I miss the peek -a- boo session,

which made us laugh and brought us close

the lectures and those untidy register notes.

I remember sharing a beautiful bond with you,

Well, needless to say I was dearly fond of you.

I remember traveling with you

waiting with and for you.

Those files submission and standing in the queue.

I remember going for interview and dropping our CVs

You wiped my tears and consoled me

I was still happy that you had got selected.

My heart was elated.

I felt as if your achievements were a matter of my pride.

What did I do that now I feel dejected?

I might have hurt your feelings knowingly or unknowingly,

I feel apologetic.

I feel I have lost a precious friend

How did this come to an end?

I still feel we can see each other,

the way we did years back

I have kept all negativities at bay

Want to pour portion of happiness into my sack.
