Silence

Wish I could again walk on the paths known to me, 

Revisit that door which was once so homely, 

Yearn for a glimpse of that face which made my mornings lovely,

Wish I could for one last time relive those countless memories,

Like strolling through the promenade of the familiar streets,

Lined with trees with plenteous fallen leaves.

Maybe reminiscing those moments will clear the fog,

Will end my story and write an epilogue,

Before darkness creeps in and an elegiac silence slowly follows like a dog.
