Shimmering Light
Shimmering Light
Here I was, in total confusion
To face, to quit or run
“Don’t you ever quit”, you said, dear sir
And that indeed was my decision.
Maths and Science, poor scores
You have no future said my dad
You gave me the tools of perseverance dear Sir,
That’s when God opened other doors.
There I was, with dreams shattered
No help ever seem mattered
God opens other doors, you said, dear sir,
That’s when hope glimmered.
Here I was on cloud nine
Proud, ecstatic with joy divine
Take life with even handle, you said, dear sir,
Grounded I remained and peace was mine.
You led me through my life’s journey
Guiding me ever on a higher goal
Who ever said you are no more,
Dear sir, you are my second soul
