She Steps Out Bold

She steps out bold, no trace of doubt,
To chase her dreams and map them out.
The breeze, it whispers on her skin,
She laughs—unshaken, fierce within.

Her stride is light, her spirit high,
No cloud dare cross her sunny sky.
But winds that teased begin to rise,
A warning cloaked in calm disguise.

The breeze turns sharp, a sudden shift,
Her dress clings close, caught in the drift.
What once was soft now starts to sting,
The wind becomes a violent thing.

She stumbles back, her footing lost,
Each step now paid at double cost.
The storm roars loud, no place to stand,
It grips her tight with unseen hands.

It hurls her home, no grand parade,
Just lessons in the price she paid.
For confidence without the ground,
Will break before it hears the sound.
