She Cried

She cried, she cried a lot that day

When she couldn't find the way.

There was no one to hold her in their embrace.

Yet she tried, she tried hard to not let the tears flow away.

But her filled emotions couldn't let her heart hold the weight.

So they came out as flowing tears while she lay.

She stayed there when she couldn't find the courage to fight back again.

And all that was left was the loneliness that day.

She silently bore her deep pain alone.

When she finds no word to say.

She asked herself why when her tears dried.

But she didn't get the answer, why people betray.
