Shadow
Shadow
The penumbra stands between the light and me
Is it sinister always, haunting, and making me miserable?
Can’t it be the other way round, making me feel otherwise?
Can there be any variation in my silhouette?
Let me think of it as my doppelganger!
Somebody whom I can daydream, yet plausible
A version, rough and tough, unlike me
Pointing to the ubiquity of my own better half!
A breathtaking shadow will it be
Imbibing the light from the sky
Arising from the dark, and playing its own music
Grooving will be the entire world!
Sometimes for a better perception
Blocking the light is a must
Like my shadow enforcing a clearer vision
To get me out of the present impasse!
Jaded by the past like a nagging child
Irked by its eerie spooky tales
I love my different shadow
Encouraging me to look beyond the ordinary.
