Shades

Shades

Sitting by the window,

with the dawn entertaining me,

I looked at the colour

of the infinite,

there was none of them,

as it was all black

But slowly it turned to misty blue,

the colour of the deepest seas,

where the sun refuses to touch,

the bed of oysters.

But the sun didn’t hesitate,

on my window,

out it stretched unseen,

but ubiquitous and the colour,

changed to the sky’s native blues,

which was kissed by the bird’s yawn

and cursed by the l

azy humans’

And again in the evening,

this time with the dusk,

as I sat to sky gaze,

the sun scrambled away,

turning the sky of the colour,

as of tulips and red roses and

 finally the black roses,

with the pollens glittering.

During my abode by my window,

I saw the infinite change,

for a noble cause.

But by the end,

so was it influenced by the humans,

that it also learnt how to change its colours

to the darker shades.
