Sending Love

There are days when I want to send you love

When from inside of me it gushes out

But to make it reach you, I do not know how

As I do not know your whereabouts

I remember the times when you were happy

in just the knowledge that I loved you.

That peace in you, how your soul was settled -

not just on the surface but deep within,

Those still moments when all was well -

those moments were my oxygen.

There are days when I want to send you love

Because I'm running out of oxygen

But I do not know how to reach you now 

So I hope that you remember my love again..

.... remember the times when you were happy

in just the knowledge that I loved you.

As I send out love into the whole universe

I hope, today you crave a moment -

a still moment when all seems well.

Then you can tune into the love I sent.
