Self-Reflection

In the mirror's gentle gaze, I find my soul, 

A journey inward, where wisdom takes its toll. 

Self-reflection, a dance with truth untold, 

A poetic exploration, my heart unfolds.

With eyes unclouded, I face my reflection,

Peering deep within, seeking introspection.

Layers unfurl, like petals in bloom, 

Revealing the essence hidden in the room.

In the vast expanse of my inner being, 

A tapestry woven, stories worth freeing. 

The triumphs and failures, joys and regrets,

Merge in harmony, where the soul resets.

 I seek the echoes of my whispered dreams,

Lost fragments of hope, so it seems. 

Yet, in this sacred space, I find solace, 

Where doubts surrender and fears erase.

With a gentle touch, I trace the scars, 

Carved by battles fought, both near and far.

Each mark is a testament, a lesson learned,

Resilience and strength, in my spirit, earned.

The mirror reflects not just flesh and bone,

To put it simply 'reflection' means, 

To think about something.
