Always making sure to care for them. 

Sacrificing for their happiness,

No matter how it hurts to you, but still, you gress.

Remember to not expect in return,

Remember to not seek any appreciation.

Remember to draw that line,

A clear distinction between "your decision to love" and "their demand for love".

Because my friend,

If,

Today you seek appreciation,

Tomorrow it will be validation,

Day after, permission.

And no wonder you have forgotten the fact,

Charity begins at home.
