Requiem for life- in memoriam of Yuki

Traditionally, we correlate requiem with death...

Dying...funeral...

However, I chose to reverse the traditional way to show a celebration of life...

Not of death...

I met It way back...

A couple of years ago...

It was different from all the cats I have ever met...

And it caught my attention...

I gave it a new name...

Not the one that its mother called it...

But a name of its own...

I called it Yuki...

And Yuki became a one of the kind cat...

It grew and faced many dangers in the outside world...

Each step it took...

I have recorded in my heart...

Because it healed my heart...

Now Yuki has vanished in time...

Its story remained alive in my heart...

I shed tears of joy for meeting it...

And tears of sorrow for the sudden goodbye...

Its departure taught me a new lesson...

We are also travelling through this world...

Facing many difficulties...

Tribulations and temptations at each step...

It's hard to stay aloof...

To let go and move further...

A requiem for life implies celebration of life...

With good and bad...

A requiem for life...

Despite the sorrow, the difficulties, the betrayal...

When all the world is around us...

He is not...

That is why I choose to celebrate life...

Even when I lose, feel down or sad...
