Recognition
Recognition
Quiet she was
Like never before,
Deaf I became
Like never before.
The delicacy of speech
Was out of her reach,
The obscurity in her eyes
Was on its peak.
But I was sure of getting
At least one sign of Recognition,
As it was more than
A mere relation.
Finally, she resumed from her silence
And I from my deafness,
Only to hear -
"Who are you?"
