The festival of colours, which brings happiness, 

Holi is the festival of colours, which removes our sadness. 

 

When I look into the clear sky, which is as clear as my fresh mind, 

I see it raining colours everywhere, which sway in the gushing wind! 

 

When some colours brush on my cheek, or when some drop on my hands, 

I feel the colourful pleasure, until, in my eyes the colour lands! 

 

I gather some colours, and drop some on my friend, 

My friend will do the same, and the fun will never end! 

 

Sometimes, in Holi, with water we play, 

With using limited water, which on each other, we spray! 

 

The wonderful festival of colours, which celebrates the welcoming of spring, 

When this colour of festival comes, happiness it will surely bring!
