Raise Your Voice
Raise Your Voice
The first time she was harmed, she cried…
Shattered, taken aback, beaten by the hands of inhumanity and pride,
Her heart-broken, her soul-devastated,
Darkness surrounded her, she was agitated,
Thoughts provoked her, conscious stroked her,
Fear and agony, completely choked her.
But then she realized
There is no compromise
With one’s respect, one’s worth, one’s pride
Her eyes dried, her tears changed,
Into flames of fire, the fire of a woman’s rage.
She raised her voice, she fought against the crime,
Because for her, there was no second time.
