It's raining in my heart tonight for you're not coming home tonight

A dream of life we'd live together in a land far away

Are but now only memories of you and I of a life of no reality

Your voice crystal clear rings in my head of the plans you had

But all are lies you painted my life with for you left with the setting sun

It's rainy outside tonight as it rains in my heart 

My tears flow out like a river washing away all our lost plans

All those sweet words that now lie on barren land of desert dreams of no reality

I wrap around my heart a pain that lies in a dream world 

For no hurt you will feel tonight as the rain pours down on my broken heart tonight

You're sound asleep no thought  if me as I miss your company
