Race

Last night I dreamt,

I was walking with a shadow.

I don't know if I was following it

Or it was leading me.

I just noticed,

It was darker than me.

For the first time I felt fair enough,

I felt much fairer than someone for the first time.

I stopped, I saw it lying near my feet,

We were together with our different status quite a while.

I found the Sun just behind me.

Is he the power that makes the Shadow weak strongly?

Is it the Sun that doesn't want the Shadow stand for itself?

I questioned myself,

I found no amusement in this mastery.

I felt myself cruel

Until I found the sun at the top.

I suddenly heard a bell.

It was twelve o'clock.

And there was no shadow in front of me,

It was gone.

I lost it.

May be it came within me,

May be it was always the same,

May be we were one in different colours.

Or may be it was mastering me finally.

My sleep was lost too, finally.

And I found no shadow in the darkness of my room.

Races of Races had already left me, lonely.
