Queen Of Gold
Queen Of Gold
I stretched forth awake
To bathe in the morn rays.
No pinch of Nature's rile
But reception of your smile.
I saw I in your kind eyes
Protecting my heart so nice.
I was lifted high in heaven
In good smooth sail, enlivened.
I can't thank you enough
For erasing a sticky rough
Edge that made life messy.
I can ride now on assured mercy.
You won't understand it here
The role you play, my dear.
And I can't reward you whole
With good coins of who
Is bestowed rings of rainbow.
I fancy your springs do grow
Stretched far abysmal flow.
I thank Nature for your make.
And the fusing of our flame
Out of the ashes we come
To emerge on one path,:
With us a golden heart.
