Quandary
Quandary

There is a feeling of giving up,
Not being able to understand what’s up,
For no reason, the heartbreaks down,
Unable to stop the feeling of drowning.
With slumber disappearing, the eyes light,
Finding solace in the dark night,
The face looks bright with a beaming smile,
But the soul’s at war with being hostile.
There is an inner turmoil, to decide what’s wrong or right,
To be able to remain sane with all might,
Standing and staring at the un-lit tunnel,
The future is at a silent tussle.
In the darkness, despite the dilemma, the feet move forward,
To seek answers from the unknown, the fear is conquered,
‘Cause the mind’s desire for seeking the unexplored,
It takes the heart on the journey of untoward.
