Puzzling Dreams

Puzzling Dreams

1 min
129

I spent all day pondering over my troubled life,

And wondered how powerless we are

In living our short lives in the way we dream.

I wandered aimlessly into bizarre thoughts;

But my quest remained unresolved.

Night approached, pacifying my heavy eyes.

Dreams were awaiting the moment

When my senses get oblivious to the surrounding,

And I fell prey to the dreams like never before.

In the darkest hours, I heard their whispers.

There were no responses to my quest,

But they left me with a few disconcerting questions.

The heavy eyes were better than a disturbed night,

And I longed very much for the day to come.

Day's troubles were better than the puzzling inquests.
