What gift do you want for your birthday? 

Should we buy you a pretty dress with frills?

Or should we arrange for the party atop Nanda Hills?

Would you love to eat a rainbow cupcake?

Should we call over all your friends for a picnic by the lake?

Should we organise a theme party with Pirates and fairytales

Or a princess cake with double chocolate ice_ cream would make you happy dearest?

Little Emily heard my options but did not like any of the ideas

Mumma, I want to see a rainbow with seven hues in real on my birthday.

Holding your hand, watching the rainbow I will enjoy my strawberry Sundae

That will be a moment of Pure Bliss, for too simple is her wish

Then she said, Mumma! We will make paper boats and float them in the stream

Come prepared with your raincoat to splash in happy rain puddles sans gloom

Later we will go to pluck mangoes, litchis and blackberries from Grandpa's garden

We will share them with the street children

 Seeing their radiant faces, I bet it will be a moment of Pure Bliss sans a burden.

I decided to enjoy the moment of Emily's birthday with simple joys as per her choice

For, even if she is only five, I must value her choice.
