We all heard tales of princesses when we were small

Snow-white, Jasmine, Cindrella who, for fairy God mother’s help would call.

For all their problems they needed a Prince Charming

Who would hold their hand and give them a happy ending.

But that’s all a past tense, some old piece of paper

Today’s woman need nobody’s help, they have become world shapers.

Gone are those times when women had to give the purity tests sitting on pyre.

Modern day females can excel at anything they desire

It was a long journey with many many obstructions

But at the end they emerged victorious only because of their firm determination

Men be-aware because it is women’s era

Patriarchy has faded away, where, in achievements of men, they had to strive for a para.

Today’s women believe in walking with men at the same pace

They are those tough competitors who have equal chances of winning the race.

The identity of a woman has become way more than someone’s wife

Don’t forget she is the ‘mother’ who gave you this life

She bares all the agony with a smile on her face

Yet women have to struggle for their rights nearly at every phase.

People who say “Women are weak” are the biggest fools

Who want to make women play according to their own rules!
