Wholsome Childhood

The perpendicular ray of the sun makes her pupils dilate, 

The joyous feeling of waking up late.

The incinerated fragrance of hot ground, 

Just a lazy day around. 

Cold ice cream to beat the heat, 

Watermelons and mangoes were a delightful treat. 

Those wholesome memories of a nomadic childhood,

Numerous afternoons were spent under a banyan tree in her old neighbourhood.
