My teacher, My Preacher
My teacher, My Preacher

The blackboard of my life,
Was filled with your wise words.
The chapters of book,
Ended up giving moral lessons.
Every printed ink
Inspired us to gain heights.
Nothing would have been possible
If you weren't sensible.
At times you were strict,
Not every time you were lenient,
Yet you taught us well!
Failure or success wasn't important
How well it hit the heart
Wasn't to be forgotten!
Many untold stories
Sang songs of glories!
These were golden memories
To be cherished for centuries.
Respect and love was all we offered
You made sure no one suffered!
Keeping aside all your pride,
You stayed all time by our side.
I thank you, teacher!
For being my preacher!
Your words of love and inspiration
Will be forever engraved in my destination!
