Pearly Blessings of Stillness-by Dibyasree Nandy

The dainty opaline footsteps fair;
Upon diamond vales stark and bare;
The queen of ice with her garb blindingly bright;
Lashes long, crusted with rime, violet irises like the clearest night.
Hairpins of icicles of teal, crystalline;
Turquoise pendants that shine;
Hem trailing behind her, all freezes;
The vast swathe of greenery upon the meadows vivid ceases.
Gossamer fronds, sprinkles of moonstone dust;
Cerulean lakes and silver banks; the criss-cross of branches of snow;
After the ivory stillness, the lands lust;
The quartz road to the kingdom of the go
ddess who bestows
Quietude and sleeps unto souls in turmoil;
Despite the curves and twists, peace shall descend from the silent mountains with pearly soil.
The swirling flakes, shards glowing gold at dawn;
On the slopes, a guileless brown fawn;
An amethyst winter of absolute calm;
The misty haze that soothes; a balm.
Thistles with frost porcelain;
A morn saturated with the fire extinguished,
The deity smiles within the alabaster fane;
Heliotropes blooming amidst the ranges of smoky daze;
The rims of her attire were adorned with lace.
