Patience (Little One 4/20)

My little one is five months old now,

She keeps me exhausted but happy somehow.

By now she should be rolling around,

But she prefers staying upside down.

I grew concerned and took her to the doctor fast,

He said it is just a phase and nothing aghast.

At any moment she could be moving around,

We had already prepared a cushiony ground.

It was around the afternoon time,

I was in kitchen repairing her lunch and mine.

Thud was a sound I could hear,

I rush to see my little dear.

And there she was on the cushiony floor,

She just rolled and rolled without a sound or roar.

My happiness had no bound,

To see my princess on a pillow mound.

Kids teach us in their innocent way,

With patience success is not far away.
