Passion Vs Profession

My profession and my passion

Seem to be at odds,

One pays the bills,

The other feeds my soul.

As an app developer,

I create code and design,

Solving problems and improving lives,

It's a satisfying grind.

But my true love is writing,

Where I weave words into art,

Creating stories and poems,

That touch people's hearts.

Sometimes I feel torn,

As if I'm living two lives,

One is structured and logical,

The other free to fly.

Yet I know I'm lucky,

To have two loves so dear,

One that pays the bills,

The other that brings me cheer.

So I'll keep on writing,

While I work as a developer,

Balancing my profession and passion,

As I strive to be a true creator.
