Paradoxes And Vaccine

The long day changed from anxiety to engrossing

I am in line along with many others presuming

Life will be orderly even if it is for now agonising

Delay is typical for anything new, still distressing

 

In the queue universally, I believe are seven billion or further

But there is not enough for everyone to pamper

Should I move out or nudge along I have no answer

Funny question is the value of life worth this adventure

 

The vaccine is on sale yet limited to save lives that matter

With dozen vaccines available difficult what to prefer

Some suggest of brands more effective for the elder

If there is need for multiple doses costs get dearer

 

More the vaccine furthermore difficult is the answer

Not all can be tried so it is better to take a breather

I realize there are experts to make things fair and clear

Hopefully, they would list all those termed as carrier

 

Bio-ethics leaders believe this is no time for the cure

All that is needed is only to halt virus transfer

Typically, “old and weak need to be top of the order”

Is there not a need to elevate those who “herald the future”

 

There is a list with the name of those valued and essential

For all others, advanced medications will help once critical

I am sure I have to give way for a future sharp and skilful

This is no sacrifice as I have mastered the art of survival
